DoouShii Releases New EP ‘STARRING’

DoouShii steps forward with a fresh statement in the Amapiano landscape as he releases his new five track EP titled ‘STARRING’ today. Arriving at a time when the genre continues to evolve and push boundaries, the project captures the richness of modern Amapiano through textured log drums, layered carefully structured production. It is a release that highlights both growth and confidence from the Pretoria born artist.

The EP brings together a strong collective of contributors including Mellow and Sleazy, RioLeSuper, Ez Maestro, Carter IV, Khekhe, Senjay and Snenaah. Their presence adds colour and depth to the sound while keeping DoouShii at the forefront of each track. The music moves across melodic moods, warm progressions and energetic rhythms that reflect the versatility driving Amapiano’s continued rise.

‘STARRING’ follows a consistent record of releases that have shaped DoouShii’s identity. His 2023 project ‘Passion Pain and Pressure’ showcased emotional depth and versatility. Earlier works such as ‘Free’ from 2022 and ‘DO U’ from 2020 helped establish his early sound and build a growing audience. In 2024 he teamed up with Baby S O N for the collaborative EP ‘South Ahh’ which broadened his reach and highlighted his ability to adapt within the genre.

Alongside these projects, DoouShii has also gained traction through standout singles including ‘MaDlamini’ with Scotts Maphuma and Mellow and Sleazy, a track that demonstrated his ability to craft impactful Amapiano production with strong rhythm and character.
