Touchline Announces Venue and Date Change For Mambisa Golden Boy Experience Show. Fans who snapped up tickets for Touchline’s much-anticipated one-man show, The Mambisa Golden Boy Experience, were met with an unexpected update: the show will no longer take place at Playground in Braamfontein on 5 December as originally advertised, but has been moved to Carfax in Newtown and postponed by one day.

Touchline Confirms Venue and Date Change For Mambisa Golden Boy Experience Show

“We’re reporting live from our rehearsal space, and as you know, we are doing our Mambisa Golden Boy Experience, and you guys have bought your tickets in numbers, and I really appreciate it. But due to unforeseen circumstances, we are moving the show from Braamfontein to Carfax in Newtown, Johannesburg.

And another big change is we’re moving the day to the next day. So from the 5th of December to the 6th of December. I really, really apologise for the inconvenience, but it’s something that is out of our control. But we do promise to give you guys the best experience possible.” Touchline said.

The one-man show was initially listed for 5 December at Playground, Braamfontein — a date and venue that appeared on ticketing and music-news listings when the event was announced. Touchline’s message stressed both regret and commitment: despite the disruption, the artist promised fans an elevated live experience. Carfax, the event’s new home in Newtown, is a well-known Johannesburg venue for club nights and live shows, putting the performance closer to the city’s cultural precinct.

Ticket holders should keep their existing tickets safe and watch Touchline’s official channels for the logistics on entry, any ticket transfers or refunds, and updated arrival times. The original ticket listing and event pages remain the best place to check for official updates.

For many fans, The Mambisa Golden Boy Experience promised an intimate evening of storytelling, backed by a live band and special guests — a show built to trace Touchline’s journey from the early days to his present voice in South African hip-hop. With the change of venue and date, organisers are now racing to ensure the production matches the hype and that the last-minute move does not dampen what the show aims to deliver: a memorable, personal night in music.
